Blood Bike East is a charitable organisation that delivers blood & medical products by motorbike between hospitals in Leinster free of charge. It is an entirely volunteer run organisation and Blood Bike East riders are highly trained and can safely negotiate traffic where large vehicles would be unable to do so, unless an emergency blue light vehicle is taken off an already overstretched service. DoneDeal's recent donation of ?32,309 facilitated the purchase of additional motorcycles and their maintenance which was key to today's launch that sees the service roll out across all of Leinster.
