DEALZ CELEBRATES SECOND ANNIVERSARY IN IRELAND
BY OPENING ITS 30TH STORE AND ANNOUNCING 10 NEW STORES
CREATING OVER 250 IRISH JOBS
Ireland’s discount retailer Dealz today celebrated its second anniversary of trading in Ireland by opening its 30th store, located in Galway, and announced plans to open an additional 10 Irish stores in the next financial year (April 2014), creating 250 new Irish jobs. Pictured at today’s announcement were CEO Jim McCarthy and model Pippa O’Connor.
The newly Dealz Galway, located at Galway Shopping Centre, has almost 9,000sq ft retail space and has created 30 new jobs bringing the total number of jobs created in Ireland to date to over 750.
Since launching in Ireland in late September 2011, Dealz has invested over €8.3 million into the Irish economy. Today’s announcement will mean a further commitment of over €1.75 million over the next 15 months.
Since its launch, Dealz has proven hugely popular with Irish consumers and has welcomedover 13.6 million customers in store to date.
