Repro Free: 14/09/2012. pictured at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) Annual Welcome Barbeque for 2012 First Year Students, their first social gathering of their academic year..ITB have thirty full time courses covering Electronics and Computer Engineering, Computing, Business, Mechatronics, Applied Social Studies in Social Care, Business and Business with Information Technology , International Business, Sports Management and Coaching along with Creative Digital Media, Social and Community Development, Early Childhood Care and Education, and Horticulture. .There are also a number of part time Springboard Courses on offer at ITB, the initiative launched in May for unemployed people in areas such as, Mechatronics, Computing, Digital media, Energy Efficiency and Retrofit, and Languages. The initiative is aimed at those who were previously working but lost their jobs or were made redundant and who, with some up-skilling, could fill current or future job shortages.
