ITB (Institute of Technology Blanchardstown) welcomed 60 students aged 10 to 16 into the college to take part in a fantastic initiative created by teen programmer James Whelton about a year ago, after he completed his leaving certificate..Maliya Tadjine (Castleknock) and Katie Sheehan (Tyrrelstown) Luca Ursache (Blanchardstown) and Diarmuid Fallon (Caslteknock) pictured with Maliya Tadjine (Castleknock) and Katie Sheehan (Tyrrelstown) at the first CoderDojo at ITB, the brain child of Ivo Brett and Colm Ahern. In its third week, students come each Saturday for two and a half hours to learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and much more, with a bit of fun and imagination thrown in.
