No fee for Repro: 26/07/2012.'Alice' Kayla Cooke aged 5 from Drumcondra, Dublin pictured reading 'Alice in Wonderland? at the announcement that leading Irish authors Cathy Kelly and Ireland's new children's laureate Niamh Sharkey pledged their support for the Eason 'Get Into Reading' campaign which aims to highlight the importance of reading, especially with young children. Eason commissioned research into the nation's reading habits which revealed almost one in five (18%) Irish parents never read to their children.
