Alex and Ryan were with some of the doggies that will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Dog Obedience Training Lesson at the event. The current world record for the Largest Dog Obedience Training Lesson is 390 dogs, which was set in Madrid two years ago.
Owners can sign up for the record attempt when they register for the overall Great Irish Dog Walk event. All participants will receive a commemorative medal and gift bag for themselves and their dog to say that they took part in the record breaking attempt.
Everyone attending The Great Irish Dog Walk will enjoy a fun 3km walk as well as Doggie Fun Zones, face painting, goody bags, and a host of free giveaways.
Dog owners who wish to attend The Great Irish Dog Walk can register on line at www.dspca.ie or contact the DSPCA directly. All dogs and kiddies are invited to take part for FREE, while adults will be charged a €10 registration fee. All dogs attending must be on a leash, with rules and regulations applying to the event.
