***Embargoed till 9:30pm *** Repro Free: 02/05/2014 Dublin Aoife Mannion wears “Recircuitable” by students of Our Ladys Bower, Athlone and Nicola Bolton wears “Electrifying” from Bush Post Primary School, Dundalk ahead of the 2014 Junk Kouture Grand Final which takes place tonight in the O2 Arena. Both outfits have been shortlisted for this year’s European Recycling Platform’s (ERP) Electrical Waste Award. The outfits comprise of recycled electrical equipment including plugs, electrical wires, computer components and a lot of hard work! ERP are proud to support Junk Kouture for the third year running which is a national competition for second level students in Ireland and Northern Ireland which challenges teenagers to create high-end wearable fashion from everyday junk that would normally find its way into the bin.
