REPRO FREE: 09/09/2014 Ceramic artist Katrine Køster Holst has been putting the finishing touches to her installation of a vast flock of porcelain birds in Chapel Royal, as part of an exhibition of ceramic works around Dublin Castle by Norwegian Crafts. Entitled In the Margins of our Minds, the site responsive installations, which also feature artists Corrina Thornton and Lillian Tørlen, open this evening, Tuesday 9th September and run until Thursday 25th September 2014. The exhibition is included in the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland’s specially produced Dublin Craft Trail to coincide with the 46th General Assembly of the International Academy of Ceramics at Dublin Castle, 8th – 12th September. The trail aims to highlight the strength and diversity of ceramic practice in Ireland and abroad, together with all disciplines of contemporary craft and design.
