Repro Free: 23/01/2014 The Irish Heart Foundation and Irish Cancer Society lead the coalition for health and children’s charities to urge speedy passing of plain pack law. Sufferers of smoking-related heart attack, lung cancer and chronic respiratory disease urged the Government to enact “crucial” plain packaging of tobacco products legislation as quickly as possible at the start of public hearings at the joint Oireachtas Committee on Health and children on the Public Health (Standardised Packaging of Tobacco) Bill.
